Hey, My name is robert. I am part of a two man IT team working for the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute up on petitjean mountain (just up the hill from you Tall Paul). I have been in the it field formaly for about 5 years, but have been around computers since the apple 2e IBM pc Junior days.
We have been using spiceworks for a some months now, but have never really gotten anyone to catch on to the ticketing system. They would rather shoot you an email directly, call you on the phone, or just run to your office.
